Why did Rogers ISD call a bond?
The Rogers ISD Board of Trustees recently voted unanimously to place two propositions totaling $31.715 million bond on the ballot for the upcoming May election. If approved, the bond will fund improvements and safety features, including new academic spaces, a band hall with support rooms, a secure vestibule at the middle school, a Pedestrian Hybrid Beacon for safe street crossing of FM-437, and other districtwide upgrades, such as HVAC units, fine arts equipment, as well as improvements to current athletic facilities.
